ACTIVE INITIATIVE

Operation Re-Unite

Helping immigrant families reunite with missing family members β€” those detained by immigration officers, separated at borders, or lost during migration. Including children separated from undocumented parents.

Every Minute Counts

Thousands of immigrant families are separated every year β€” at borders, during enforcement raids, and through detention. Children are separated from parents. Spouses lose contact. Families are torn apart across countries.

Operation Re-Unite is Immigrants Alliance's emergency initiative to help families find each other. We work with legal aid organizations, consulates, detention facility databases, and our global network across 190+ countries to reconnect families.

This service is completely free. If you or someone you know has a missing family member, file a report now.

Four Steps to Reconnect

1

Report

Fill out the missing person report form below with as much detail as possible β€” name, country of origin, last known location, and circumstances.

2

Search

Our team searches detention databases, consulate records, legal aid networks, and our global partner organizations across 190+ countries.

3

Connect

When a match is found, we verify identities and facilitate safe, confidential communication between family members.

4

Reunite

We provide legal referrals, consular support, and coordination to help families physically reunite β€” including free legal aid.
