Immigrants Alliance is a nonpartisan, secular global multicultural economic development federated social welfare organization dedicated to promoting positive intercultural relations and addressing challenges faced by migrants today.

Our History

1976

Hugo Edward Juarez founds the Immigrants Foundation to help immigrant families achieve their aspirations.

Early 1980s

Unified Immigrants Alliance formed with leaders of umbrella organizations from many cultural communities.

1986

1st International Cultures Conference, Passport to the World, and Immigrants Parade held in lower Manhattan β€” commemorating the Statue of Liberty centennial.

1989

NGO Consultative Status with the U.N. Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) β€” unanimously endorsed by all member governments.

Early 2000s

Immigrants Building at 7 West 44th Street, corner of 5th Avenue in Manhattan, established as a landmark home.

2024

40th Immigrants Parade marches through Midtown Manhattan.

2026

41st Immigrants Parade (June 13). SEED launches September 15. A new era begins.
