The June 8th, 2024 Celebration reignites the Official Presentation of Nations Flags Ceremony, featuring the participation of diplomats from around the world, elected officials and community leaders, in honor of Flag Day celebrating the contributions of immigrants globally.

The International Cultures Parade, known as the Immigrants Parade, is a cultural expression by the People, for the People, representing our multicultural nation of immigrants.

The International Cultures Celebration promotes positive intercultural relations by raising awareness among multicultural leaders, their communities, and the public about the diverse cultures that are vital to our society. This effort aims to eliminate negative perceptions that fuel racism, discrimination, and anti-immigrant sentiment.

INTERNATIONAL CULTURES CELEBRATION
Proud international folk troupes and groups captivate viewers with authentic folk dances, transforming each parade block into a gigantic stage adorned with their vibrant native costumes, unique musical instruments, original sounds of music, floats, and bands. The Parade features the Official Presentation of Nations Flags Ceremony, hosted by the NYC Mayor and with the participation of several elected officials, the Diplomatic Corp, media representatives and the leadership of many grassroot umbrella organizations. The International Cultures Celebration will culminate with a tournament awarding prizes to the top contingents who showcase their community as a pageantry representing our nation's culturally rich heritage.
